5. Heart: Social Emotional Learning and Self-Care

Students of every age are entitled to safe spaces. Faced with challenges at school and home, students often feel lost and need a home base where they feel total trust and feel free to share their fears, anxieties, and concerns. In this session, a high school student from a future Teacher Education program will share the importance of creating these safe spaces for our students.

for the first day of school. This sessions will give you new and fresh activities for: Greeting Students, taking roll, sharing information about yourself (the teacher) and your class, and learning about your students.
