We would love to have students and faculty present a Breakout Session at our Educators Rising Regional Conference. Please submit your Educators Rising Presenter Proposal along one of these strands for consideration.  Sessions needs to be 45 minutes and have materials prepared for 24 attendees. Multiple proposals should not be submitted on the same form.  Proposals are due by the end of business day October 16.

 

Breakout Session Strands

• Packing your Teacher Bag: preparing for the lifestyle of a teacher.  These sessions are all about tips and tricks for classroom management, lesson planning and design, and professional skills.

• Teaching-the EDventure of a lifetime: teaching can take you everywhere, hear inspiring stories of teacher EDventures.  These sessions are about personal experience and will give you a glimpse into all the opportunities that exist in the education profession. 

• Planning for an EDventure of your Lifetime: how to chart your teaching EDventure. These sessions are all about college preparation, study abroad opportunities, and navigating the post-secondary journey.
